Biography
I have been working in the Tourism and
Hospitality sector for more than 34 years as a Hospitality and Tourism
professional and an Academician in different 4 & 5 star Hotels, Restaurants
and Resorts in the U.S.A, Europe and Bangladesh. Currently I am working as a
Professor and Dept. Director Tourism & Hospitality Management of World
University of Bangladesh as well as Chief Consultant of Heritage way
Hospitality, sister concern of Best way Group. Previously I have worked as an
Executive Director of Grand River View Hotel, Rajshahi Bangladesh, Group
General Manager of Sikder Groupβs Hospitality wing. I have also worked for nine
years as a CEO of Western Group (Hotel Sea Palace Ltd) in Coxβs Bazar. I have a
graduation degree in Hospitality Management from the U.S.A and MBA degree in
Hospitality Management from U.K. Before coming from the USA, I was working as a
general manager of two different hotels In U.S.A.
I have also teaching experiences at
University level in Bangladesh and U.K as well. I have attended many seminars
and symposiums at home and abroad. Member of many local and foreign Tourism and
Hospitality stakeholders. Such as Executive member tourism and hospitality
standing committee of FBCCI (2010-2011), Founder Board of Director of ISC
Tourism & Hospitality (ILO). Life time Member Roosevelt University Alumni
Chicago, U.S.A. Alumni of Netherlands University Foundation For International
Co-operation (NUFFIC). An Expert Director of ISC (NSDA)
