Biography

Md Istiaq Mohhamad Shuvo is a Lecturer in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management at the World University of Bangladesh. He holds a postgraduate degree from Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU). His teaching and research interests include sustainable tourism, digital transformation, and tourist consumer behaviour. His research focuses on the evolving dynamics of tourism and hospitality, particularly the influence of digital technologies, social media, and emerging trends on tourist motivation, destination image, and consumer decision-making. His research experience encompasses social media and tourist motivation, halal tourism, and destination image and consumer behaviour in marine tourism. Committed to research-informed teaching and academic excellence, he strives to enhance students’ intellectual growth, practical competencies, and professional development. Through teaching, research, and industry engagement, he aims to advance sustainable tourism and the development of the tourism and hospitality sector.
